The Kenwood A-34 is a stereo integrated amplifier from 1990, delivering 40 watts per channel into 8Ω with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz and a total harmonic distortion figure of just 0.02%. It includes a built-in phono stage for MM cartridges, making it compatible with turntables straight out of the box. A processor loop allows the preamp and power amp sections to be used independently, adding flexibility for system integration. Note that the rear-panel ADAPTOR jacks require a link cable to pass audio through from the preamp to the amplifier section — a common point to check if no sound is present on first use.
