Description

The Pioneer SA-8800 II, released in Japan in 1976 during the “Golden Era” of Japanese high-fidelity audio equipment, is a sleek high-quality integrated amplifier. This is one of Pioneer’s highly-regarded SEPP amps. It features a first-stage differential amp, 3-stage direct connection final-stage class A operation, and pure complementary SEPP. The amp’s SNR is enhanced by use of a low-noise transistor which was carefully paired with the differential amp in the first stage. One superb feature of this amp is the 4-way phono load switch, allowing for excellent compatibility with different phono cartridge types. The amp has a protection circuit. The rated output is 60W per channel (8 ohms).

This amp is in Good Condition. As photos show, the unit has some natural signs of aging, such as scratches, scuffs, and discoloration on the rear. ** The power light does not illuminate when the unit is switched on. This amplifier has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, who has confirmed its integrity and working condition.
