The Scarlett 30 was developed by Jackson Ampworks in collaboration with Nigel Hendroff, whose guitar work with Hillsong United has made him one of the most recognisable modern users of Vox-style amplifiers. Rather than chasing a strict vintage recreation, the goal was to build an amplifier that captured everything players love about a great AC30 while making it more practical, reliable, and versatile for modern stage and studio use.

Built in 2017 and finished in striking Red Tolex, this Scarlett 30 delivers the unmistakable chime, clarity, and harmonic richness associated with classic EL84 powered amplifiers. The circuit takes its inspiration from the celebrated AC30 Top Boost platform, producing expansive clean tones with excellent note separation and a smooth, singing overdrive when pushed harder. There is a familiar British character throughout, but with a level of refinement and consistency that has helped establish Jackson Ampworks as one of the leading names in boutique amplification.

A key feature of the Scarlett 30 is its continuously variable Power Scaling control. Rather than relying on a traditional master volume, the amplifier allows players to reduce output from the full 30 watts down to approximately 1/8 watt while retaining the feel and response of the power section. Whether used on a large stage, in a recording studio, or at home, the amp remains remarkably usable across its entire range.

Construction is exactly what you would expect from a premium boutique amplifier. Hand-wired assembly, oversized custom transformers, Mallory capacitors, carbon film resistors, and premium Carling and Neutrik hardware are used throughout. Paired with its matching Red Tolex cabinet, this Scarlett 30 makes for an impressive professional rig that looks every bit as good as it sounds.

Comes with a pair of Timon Klein Industries road cases for both the head and cab.
