Vintage 1958 Hofner Violin Bass.
Plays and sounds great. No issues whatsoever. Good action.
It’s missing the pick guard but the pickups, electronics, hardware etc all appear to be original. It even has what seems to be the original leather strap. Comes with non original case. I can’t tell you what’s behind the Capital or Hofner Decals, but they look cool AF.
Going by the back of the headstock it looks like the machine heads were relocated at some point but this isn’t visible from the front so that’s a bit of a mystery too.
Great playing, great sounding vintage Bass.
