The 1983 Daion Performer-D PF-999 is a rare, Japanese-made "semi-solid" electric-acoustic guitar designed for high playability and versatility. Part of the Performer Series, it was built by Yamaki in Japan during a period of high-quality, innovative guitar manufacturing.

• Condition: Very Good showing normal players wear, scratches and chips but overall presents nicely
• Body Construction: A super lightweight, single-cutaway semi-solid body designed for comfort and high-position playability.
• Bridge and Stringing: Features a unique string-through design where strings are anchored in back-of-the-body ferrules, similar to a Fender Telecaster. It also includes wooden bridge pins for a more traditional aesthetic.
• Neck Profile: The neck is slightly chunky, reminiscent of a Gibson Les Paul rather than a typical acoustic neck.
• Electronics: Equipped with built-in high-sensitivity, high-output passive piezo "Performer" transducers located under the saddle.
• Controls: Simple volume and tone control knobs are located on the top shoulder of the body. 
• Scale and Nut: Standard 6-string configuration with a 25 inch scale, truss rod adjustment is accessible through the "faux" sound hole.
