ADDAC System ADDAC406 Clock Bender

The ADDAC406 is a dual-channel clock modulation module designed for creating controlled accelerations and decelerations from an incoming clock source. Rather than generating static divisions or multiplications, the Clock Bender allows clock rates to smoothly transition between tempos over a defined number of beats, opening up possibilities for evolving polyrhythms, bouncing-ball effects, tempo ramps and other unconventional timing structures. All major parameters can be voltage controlled, allowing clock manipulation to become an active part of a patch. An OLED display provides clear visual feedback, while loop and one-shot modes make it easy to create anything from repeating tempo shifts to momentary rhythmic events.
