Raindirk Series 4 Channel Strip from rare British Console
From the designer behind some of the most iconic British studio consoles of the 70s — the desks that recorded Deep Purple, The Who, ELO, and the rooms at Olympic Studios — this is a single channel strip from Cyril Jones' Series 4 broadcast console. Only 45 of these were ever built.
Sowter mic and line input transformers, NE5534-based mic amp on its own shielded sub-board, 4-band switchable EQ with HF/LF shelves and two mid bands, phase reverse, multiple aux sends, bus assignment.
Sold as-is, untested, unracked — this needs a rack enclosure, power, and I/O sorting before of course.
A project buy for someone who knows what they're doing but could also be a project for any competent tech. Schematics may be available direct from Raindirk.
