Dave Hill Designs Europa 1 Pre Amplifier
Single-channel, discrete Class-A microphone preamp designed by Dave Hill.
The microphone input has 3 input impedance choices: 2.2K ohms for normal microphone operation, 300 ohm, or different microphone sounds and a instrument input.
One of the Europa 1's defining features is its ability to move seamlessly between ultra-clean transparency and rich harmonic coloration. Unlike traditional preamps that have a fixed sound, the Europa 1 allows the engineer to dial in varying amounts of harmonic content and transformer character, making it capable of sounding pristine and modern or warm and vintage (Similar to Neve, API, Tube Designs). This flexibility makes it well suited to a wide range of sources, from detailed acoustic recordings and vocals to drums, bass, and mix-bus processing
Awesome pre amp and sad to see this one go. It's in great condition. No original packaging, but will be packed securely and include a power cable.
