Boss DS2 Turbo distortion in good overall condition. Built in 1997. Works perfectly and sounds great. Runs on 9v battery or adapter (not included).
Key Features:
Four orange knobs: Level, Tone, Dist (distortion), and the Turbo mode selector on the right.
Turbo switch (the rightmost knob):
Turbo Mode I — Classic DS-1 style distortion (more mid-focused).
Turbo Mode II — Much more aggressive, high-gain, and brighter distortion (the "turbo" sound that made this pedal famous).
Check LED (red light) to show when the effect is engaged.
Standard Boss build: sturdy metal casing, easy-to-use layout, 9V power (battery or adapter).
Sound/Usage:
Very versatile for rock, metal, punk, and alternative.
Famous users include Kurt Cobain (Nirvana used it a lot), Joe Satriani, The Edge (U2), and many others.
It can go from light crunch to heavy, sustaining distortion, especially in Turbo II mode.
