Up for sale is my 2016 Fender Custom Shop ’62 Telecaster Relic in 3-Color Sunburst.
The guitar comes complete with its original Fender Custom Shop tweed case, Certificate of Authenticity, and original case candy.
This is a fantastic-sounding Custom Shop Telecaster with all the classic early-’60s Tele characteristics—great twang, clarity, articulation, and responsiveness, while still retaining warmth and character when pushed. The neck feels excellent and the guitar has been a pleasure to own and play.
The guitar has been professionally maintained throughout my ownership and has been serviced multiple times by one of Perth’s most respected guitar repair shops.
Please note that the guitar was accidentally dropped many years ago and has cosmetic impact damage around the output jack area. The damage has remained completely stable since the incident and has been inspected during servicing. There are no structural cracks, and the guitar plays, sounds, and functions exactly as it should. Detailed photos of the area have been included for full transparency.
