Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar finished in classic Black Ebony with Nickel Hardware. Built by Gibson, this mid-’70s Les Paul Custom—often referred to as the “Black Beauty” style—delivers the iconic thick, sustaining tone and refined aesthetic that has made it one of the most recognizable high-end solid-body guitars ever produced.

This Les Paul Custom offers the signature combination of deep low-end authority, rich midrange complexity, and smooth, singing sustain. The mahogany body and set-neck construction provide exceptional resonance and weighty harmonic response, making it an excellent choice for classic rock, blues, hard rock, and studio work.

The Black Ebony finish paired with nickel hardware gives this instrument a slightly more understated and worn-in vintage character compared to gold hardware examples, while still retaining the unmistakable Les Paul Custom presence.

Modifications/Non-Original Parts: Knobs, bridge, switch tip, locking tuners, backplate, nut, and pickguard are not original. One potentiometer has been replaced with a 1972-dated pot. These updates do not affect playability and reflect the guitar’s working history.

This guitar comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).

Condition: 8.8/10 - Very Good. Regular play wear throughout with buckle rash, scattered dings, and a few touch-ups on the headstock tip. Overall well-played but structurally solid with strong vintage character.
