This 1968 Telecaster is in pristine condition, like a museum piece. I bought it about 30 years back in Tokyo at Historique Guitars. Tokyo shops in those days were recognized for their high quality vintage instruments.
This guitar is a super light weight swamp ash beauty. It weighs 3170 Grams. It has a curved maple fretboard on the maple neck. The neck is not chunky like on some Teles but pleasant to play.
I would dare to say it might be one of the finest instruments on the world wide market. Even without an amplifier it is a total delight to play and enjoy the Telecaster feel and, yes, also sound.
I sell it merely because I never really liked maple fretboards.
The only 2 things that are not original is one set screw in the bridge of the A string and the handle of the case.
