This mid-’70s “Black Beauty” from Gibson delivers the iconic Les Paul Custom look paired with powerful, upgraded tone and the unmistakable feel of a well-played vintage instrument. Built with a carved maple top over a solid mahogany body and ebony fingerboard, this guitar produces deep, focused lows, strong midrange punch, and singing sustain.

This example has been tastefully upgraded with vintage DiMarzio double cream humbuckers, adding higher output, enhanced harmonic richness, and a more aggressive voice while still retaining classic Les Paul character. It has also undergone a professional refret with jumbo frets, greatly improving playability and modern feel without compromising its vintage soul.

This guitar comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).

Condition is rated at 9/10 – Very Good. The instrument shows typical aging to the finish and hardware consistent with its era. There is some buckle rash on the back, but no major chips or heavy finish checking. Overall, this is a solid, well-preserved vintage Custom with honest wear and excellent functionality.
