Rare Japanese built Elite Les Paul from early 2002 - the first year of production. Designed to offer professional-grade materials and craftsmanship rivalling USA-made Gibsons, and including pickups made by Gibson USA. It's super rare to find one with the original 'Elite' branding as upon release they were quickly sued (by Ovation, who held a trademark for "Elite") and were forced to rebrand the line to "Elitist" later that same year.

It's in excellent condition with just a couple of blemishes on very close inspection. The frets are excellent, it's been carefully looked after and everything works as it should.

It has a Mahogany body with Maple top, a slimmer 60s style Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard, Grover tuners and its original Gibson USA built (but Epiphone branded for production reasons) 50SR and 60ST humbucker pickups. This collectible Fujigen guitar comes complete with its original 'Elite' hard case to keep it protected.
