This 2026 Phoenix Series comes with a padded backpack style gig bag.  It has a 24-fret fingerboard with a 25.23in scale length. The beautiful Pale moon ebony fretboard has a compound radius of 15.59 inches at the tail down to 9.64 inches at the nut.

The Shape of the neck is what we call the Howie Medium Line. At the nut the depth is 0.92inches and at the 12th fret it is 0.99inches. It’s not super thin like the 1960s Gibson ES 335s and it’s not super fat and round like the older Les Paul necks. It’s right in the middle of these two. The width at the nut is 1.68inches, and at the tail it is 2.2inches.

The pickups on this guitar are Seymour Duncan’s Alternative 8 humbucker (on the bridge) and Slash 2.0 (on the neck).  The Slash 2.0 model gives you all of Slash’s unique tone while also being just a little hotter than the original.  The Alternative 8 is a very hot wind humbucker at 17.1k.  It’s very crisp and clean while also having the warmth of an alnico wind.... perfect for lead playing.       

The chambered body design and the wood used for this guitar make it lighter than a classic solid body. It weighs in right at 7.2lbs.  Compare this to a standard Les Paul that can weight up to 10lbs.

As usual with all our Phoenix Series guitars, this guitar is made with “diamond in the rough” materials or materials that would have otherwise been thrown away. The top and peghead are made from a piece of Black Limba that was very beat up and the beautiful pale moon ebony fretboard was free because of a shipping mistake...I really lucked out there!!! 

The finish on this guitar was done with a catalyzed urethane that is normally used on automobiles. This high-end urethane dries very fast and hard allowing fewer coats and a thinner finish.
