A stunning mid-’90s U.S. ’52 Reissue Telecaster - built in Corona, California in October 1995. This one has that classic vintage Tele recipe: an ash body in Butterscotch Blonde, a one-piece maple neck, and all the bite and warmth you’d expect from a true American Vintage build.
The neck heel shows the original factory date penciled (10-26-95) with Fender’s Corona QC label, and the bridge serial (#22628) places it squarely in the mid-’90s AVRI range. These early Corona reissues are known for their resonant ash bodies and top-tier craftsmanship, bridging the Fullerton and later Pure Vintage eras.
Plugged in, it delivers that unmistakable Tele twang - crisp and articulate with a woody midrange snap. The pickups are the original Fender American Vintage single coils, wired to the factory 3-way setup with vintage-spec pots and cloth wiring.
Cosmetically, it wears its years beautifully with a soft amber tint to the lacquer and gentle patina on the hardware. A timeless player that nails the 1952 blueprint down to every screw.
Comes in Fender tweed OHSC with original lead and case candy.
