Although many Japanese guitars claim to be "Ibanez", unless it's wearing that glorious word on the headstock it's just not the same! Made in early 1977 (just after the theoretical "lawsuit" that may or may not have ever happened, hence the headstock shape), the 2350 features an arched birch top, mahogany body, slim 60's maple neck, "ebonized" rosewood fingerboard and weighs 3.8kg's. Loaded with the original Super 70 pickups and factory upgrade tailpiece, this one has some aftermarket knobs and new tuners (installed on a slight angle to seemingly avoid adding any screw holes, meaning you can revert it back to the original style if you have some).
Good vintage condition as pictured with some signs of wear and tear including cracked pickup rings and some patina to the hardware. Restrung and serviced prior to listing, the frets are shiny and play well as they sit in a "fretless wonder" style (very common for these, contact us for a refret quote if you prefer a modern fret).
