Personal Thoughts:

This Lake Placid Blue edition is nothing short of breathtaking. The Journeyman Relic finish is tastefully aged with soft checking and light patina that give it that gently loved, stage-worn character. Underneath, the AAAA flamed maple neck and board glow with depth and figure, elevating this Strat well into boutique territory.

The Mid-’60s Oval “C” neck is slim, fast, and supremely comfortable, while the compound 9.5"–16" radius and 6100 jumbo frets make bending effortless and articulate. Every inch of this guitar has been designed to feel broken-in yet incredibly precise.

Tonally, the ’60s Custom Shop pickups deliver everything you’d expect from a top-tier Strat — glassy highs, warm mids, and that signature bell-like chime. The modern wiring and 250K taper-split pots allow for smooth tonal control, perfect for everything from crystalline cleans to gritty blues and rock drive.
