These were made in the late 80s as a more affordable, solid state take on the classic JCM800 tone. It's very nicely built: sturdy cabinet, nice big transformers, carefully done. The sound is very convincing too: big warm fat cleans, tasty reverb, heaps of headroom, and a remarkably tube-like growl on the dirty channel. So much amp for the cash it's silly.
