Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. This SG-800S was a special release only made in 1982. Weighs 3.9kg's and is built with a mahogany body with a maple cap, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width). Loaded with the original Yamaha branded tuners and tune-o-matic bridge, this one has the original humbucking pickups with the push/push coil split switches on the tone knobs.
