Traded in at our Brisbane store, this was a very limited edition model from Gibson that was made in the USA for 2006/2007. Good used condition as pictured with light wear from general use and some slight nitro burn around the headstock but no breaks or repairs. Weighs 4.2kg's.

When Gibson unveiled the original Explorer at the 1958 NAMM show, the world wasn't quite prepared for the unique design created by Ted McCarty and his team. The X-plorer New Century features updated aesthetics for the new millennium in the form of a full-body mirrored pickguard on top of an ebony finish. Tonally, the mahogany body and neck with an ebony fingerboard provide tons of body. Electronically, the X-plorer sports a pair of ceramic magnet humbuckers, two volume controls, and a single tone control.
