A rare and wonderfully eccentric example of early Korean electric guitar design, this 1960s Arirang Teisco EG-27 EC-320T is a true vintage sleeper. With a pair of punchy single coil pickups, a lightweight body, and a three-tone Sunburst finish, this model channels all the quirky character and garage rock attitude you'd expect from the Teisco family tree. The oversized chrome tremolo and angular pickguard round out the period-correct charm, making this an eye-catching player and conversation starter alike.
Playability is surprisingly good for a guitar of this era, with a full-feeling C-shaped neck and a rosewood board that’s been well preserved over the decades. The electronics are functioning as intended with cool chimey cleans and gritty breakup on tap when pushed, and the trem system works well for expressive, surfy wiggles. This guitar is a great addition in anyone’s collection and with a fresh set up it is ready to go!
