ITI ME-230 parametric mastering equalizer c 1969 original vintage USA sontec gml discrete analog EQ

An absolute classic up for grabs here. Pre Sontec, pre GML, regarded by many as the finest parametric EQ ever built.

All original ITI opamps for both channels are present.

Unit powers on, but all three bulbs on the front aren’t working (“Power”, EQ “In” for Channel 1, EQ “In” for Channel 2).

Channel 1 worked fine out the gate, but I was unable to get the EQ to function on channel 2. Ch2 was passing audio, but none of the EQ controls were responding. After swapping the opamp cards around, I’ve come to the conclusion that Ch2’s first card (with the UTC transformer) is the culprit. I’m not sure what the issue on the card could be, but all the other cards seem to be working as they should.

I’m selling this unit as is, so you’ll need to arrange a technician on your end. All components look to be original, so a recap and a service is definitely in order.
