This is a vintage full-size violin bow stamped Marcel Lapierre, a name associated with fine French craftsmanship. The bow features a beautiful round-section pernambuco stick and plays with agility, warmth, and excellent control—perfect for the advancing or professional violinist.

This bow has been tested and professionally adjusted. It handles beautifully, offering precision for advanced repertoire and expressive playing.

A very fine French violin bow made by M. Lapierre ca. 1960. This is a nice example in a very fine state of preservation, all original including the winding and grip. Lapierre made some wonderful bows in the style of E.A. Ouchard. This strong influence formed from close collaboration in 1946 between these fine makers. It is excellent playing bow with easy and effortless handling.
