The Korg ES-50 Lambda is a lush analogue ensemble synthesiser from 1979, known for its rich, layered textures and immediate playability. It features two distinct sections—Percussive (piano, clav, etc.) and Ensemble (strings, brass, organ)—which can be layered and balanced via faders. A signature multi-chorus effect gives the ensemble sounds a warm, swirling character reminiscent of classic string machines like the Solina, but with a distinctly Japanese flavour. Full polyphony and a clear, tactile layout make it a favourite for ambient, synthpop, and cinematic tones.
Some scratches present on wood enclosure.
