The clone of Roger Mayer Spitfire Distortion pedal.

A rounder chord-friendly evil twin of a RM Mongoose fuzz...  Very similar, but in the style of a more modern "high gain" distortion, with its dark roots sprouting into the legacy of mighty OG White-face ProCo RAT, infamous for its heavy droning tones and virtually never ending sustain.

Aka "the latest produced effect in the original Rocket Series" or Roger's take on a modern Overdrive/Fuzz hybrid coupled with extensive knowledge from the retro dirtboxes with it's legacy still echoing in a classic 60's-70's fuzz pedal territory.
Toughted as mimicing classic triode tube-type distortion and high output to push an amp over the edge while paying homage to his Hendrix-era experience, it maintains the guitar's original tone characteristics with the open sound, detail and sonic heritage while being saturated in creamy and rich harmonics.

Very musical and pleasing to the ears without sounding raucous or just plain nasty, although some may find its lack of "fizz" and consider it a bit too dark for anything except Desert Rock or wild Psychedelic Garage jams... but the overall EQ has been carefully developed to produce a well-rounded fatness and beautiful tone that cleans up superbly well using the guitar volume knob, ommiting nasal or thin type of sound that is common with modern circuitry.

All while retaining beautiful clarity and transparency, whithout empty spaces between the notes filled up with extensive noise and mush.
Just try it stacked with anything even bolder, heavier and more explosive and you'll immediately occur in a perfect Fuzz/Distortion/Overdrive Heaven! 😉

Controls are:
Vol. - sets the effects Volume. Should be self explanatory...
Fuzz - is your straightforward Gain control. Nothing to be confused with too...
