This 1968 Gibson Hummingbird in Cherry Burst has beautifully aged, the original Nitrocellulose finish has fine checking throughout with some player and pickwear, some minor dings and dents The neck is fairly clean with some minor chips, a 43mm nut width with slim neck contour is a joy to play

The guitar has a rich warm tone with rich bass response and articulate high end Solid Spruce Top with Solid Mahogany back and sides produce a well balanced tone and the guitar responds well to strumming or finger picking styles

The guitar is in excellent condition with original finish

The headstock has had a professional carbon fibre crack repair and has been refinished in matching Nitro that has been aged and lacquer checked to match the existing finish, repair is not evident or visible.

Has had an LR Baggs Element system installed with soundhole controls, and bridge was removed and extended to accommodate pickup install to correct string height action with compensated bone saddle to replace the original adjustable saddle

Has had a pro setup and service, with fret dress and fingerboard condition Fitted with 10-47 Elixir strings Includes later TKL Hardcase
