The Nambu Tekki effect pedal features a housing made of Nambu Tekki, a traditional craft of Iwate Prefecture. The Nambu Tekki chassis is cast in a historic workshop. The development and manufacture of effectors that go back to the basics to this extent is unique in the world.
Compared to the aluminum enclosures used in many effectors, the Nambu ironware enclosure has a musical element. This ranges from response to picking to sound pressure sensation. Please experience the energy of Japanese tradition.
The use of Nambu ironware (cast iron) for the chassis lowers the center of gravity of the sound while reproducing a clear low frequency range.
Sufficient weight suppresses unnecessary resonance, and contributes to a low-taste treble range.
The result is a “clean” sound in all registers.
The distortion level can be flexibly adjusted from a clean boost to a solid OD sound.
3 BAND EQ. The 3 BAND EQ allows you to adjust settings according to the instrument or amp you are using.
Can also be used as an always-on preamp/buffer pedal.
