Introducing the Electo-Voice V-1, the internals have been upgraded with a new ribbon motor and transformer! These old EV ribbon mics came with subpar internals and a ribbon motor that many opt to not even work on. Even when properly reribboned they leave a lot to be desired and yield a somewhat low output. This is no longer the case here, the new ribbon motor and transformer results in an excellent frequency response that is usuable on a ton of sources!
This EV V-1 shines in terms of aesthetics, making it an ideal choice for display purposes. Its grille is nearly flawless and body reflects meticulous care. Included with the microphone is a convenient screw-on Switchcraft to XLR cable, enhancing its usability straight out of the box.
