Collide 4 is the first hardware creation designed in collaboration with experimental ambient electronic music composer, Hainbach. This module brings the lock-in amplifier concept—once exclusive to atomic age physics research—into the Eurorack world. Known for their impressive power in musical applications, these vintage instruments have been reimagined for today’s synthesists, offering the same raw potential in a far more compact and user-friendly format, complete with full voltage control.

Collide 4 delivers a completely new analogue synth voice and audio processor, expanding well beyond the possibilities the avant-garde pioneers could have envisioned. It reflects Hainbach’s deep expertise in exploring the unique sounds of vintage test equipment, combined with Joranalogue’s innovative approach to electronic instrument design.

Building on its cutting-edge dual-phase architecture, this groundbreaking musical generator and processor has been aptly named the “quadrature spectral computer."
