With this special PRS Custom 24 FR Wood Library Ltd., the US luxury guitar forge from Stevensville Maryland dares to approach a dream of an instrument for every metal and shred guitar player: perfect workmanship, stunning looks, outstanding playability and an assertive sound characterize this guitar.

The basis of this wonderful instrument is formed by the selected woods from the Wood Library program from PRS. Similar to the Private Stock category, models can be individually assembled here, independently of the usual wood combination for a particular model.

As such this CU24 FR comes with a body made of hand-selected mahogany, which, thanks to its low weight of just 3.4kg, allows for easy handling, but at the same time provides the ideal basis for richly loaded sound options and a creamy sustain. Combined with an exceptionally figured artist grade quilted maple top, which is perfectly showcased by the striking grey black high-gloss finish, as well as a hand-selected flame maple neck with standing annual growth rings in a set neck construction, the guitar not only offers a unique look but also a harmonizing tonal change from the standard mahogany to more attack and crisp in the tone.

The selected pickup configuration with two PRS \m/ humbuckers offers a wide range of sound options in the metal and hard rock genre, but maintains a dynamic and clearly articulated response in the high gain setting. Additionally, the Floyd Rose tremolo opens up unlimited possibilities for squeals and dive bombs!

The playing experience is absolutely flattering thanks to the slim Pattern Thin neck profile, ebony fingerboard with 10” radius and the 42.9mm locking nut.
