《Sankyo》

Sankyo Flute Factory, which produces the highest quality Japanese-made flutes, was founded in 1968 by seven craftsmen who came together under the master flute maker, Kikuo Kuzo, and began its history of musical instrument production with the motto of creating sounds that resonate in the heart and completely handmade by craftsmen.

Even for a single screw or spring, they use molds in their own factory and strive to produce thoroughly handcrafted instruments, creating world-class masterpieces with the hands of skilled craftsmen who have many years of experience and outstanding skills.

While respecting tradition, they also come up with many original ideas that meet the needs of the times, and are always coming up with cutting-edge designs, such as Japan's first 24K flute and the new E mechanism.

Even today, they continue to produce Japan's highest quality flutes based on world-class technical capabilities and innovative design ideas for the new era.

《Etude》

Etude is an entry-level model from Sankyo, one of Japan's leading flute manufacturers.

As the model name Etude (practice piece) suggests, it was created as a handmade model ideal for beginners.

The head joint, the heart of the flute, is made of sterling silver with a silver content of 92.5%, achieving the brilliance and smooth sound that is the charm of Sankyo flutes.

The body and key system are made of nickel material with silver plating, which gives it high strength against impact and wear, as well as a light and clear sound.

The body and key system also incorporate traditional manufacturing methods and innovative technology, and instead of using the conventional E mechanism system, a new E mechanism system that fulfills the same role is adopted, improving the fingering of G-A trills and simplifying unnecessary systems to reduce the risk of breakdown.

In addition, even though it is an entry-level model, we have carefully produced each part in our own factory, using pin-top arms for the key system, which boasts outstanding operability and a beautiful European appearance.
