1960-64 Gibson SG Les Paul Junior

Just doing some more research about the year of manufacturing looks like 5x digits is 1960-64. Many years ago I dated it as 61 build not so sure right now of the exact year.

Has been heavily modified and repaired.

Neck has been broken at the top and repaired several times, wooden dowels have been fitted where required, the neck is slightly thinner where the join is up by the headstock.

She has had a smashed headstock also. The neck is verry thin so if you have small hands...hello.

Has Gotoh open gear tuners they are good quality. Many holes have been filled on the body.

It has a custom made pick guard by Gary's Guitars.

It is painted with acrylic lacquer translucent finish with Gibson cherry dye.

Was refinished 17 years ago has some chips on the paint and a little belt rash on the back of the body.

Comes with one hair line crack where the neck joins the body see pictures. The guitar was under my bed for 15 years due to needing a refret.

Recently refretted the frets are very nicely done buffed and rounded on the edges it is running .10 strings neck does not have a lot of curve.

Has a Bare Knuckle Mississippi Queen p90 pickup. This pickup is the midrange hotness next up from PAF.

Now to the important part about a guitar this guitar has got some serious Mojo it plays like butter and sounds fantastic.

Comes with a generic hard case for shipping mainly but works fine.

It's a fantastic guitar I'm confident, for the right person this guitar will sing.
