My favourite amp...

This is a Valco National Glenwood 90 from 1964. These were Valco's (Supro, Airline, Gretsch) top of the line. It's 35 watts of dual 6973 tube power into two original 12" Jensens. This one is original except for the backplate which was replaced long before I got it. They have a sound similar to Fender Blackfaces of the era and break up early for a rich, warm, organic tone that is very responsive with single coils.

Dual channels offer high bass, low bass, guitar all with tremolo and a lush, washy plate reverb.

It is in very nice shape but shows some fraying on the striped cloth surround. The tolex, grill, chrome front plate, handle, badge and knobs are in very good condition. All of the lights function. It has the original two prong power cord.
