Lollar loaded Jazzmaster pickguard

2 x Lollar Jazzmaster pickups set in a Herad black anodised aluminium pick guard

I built this loaded pickguard 6 months ago as a drop-in for my Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster so I could have the option of traditional Jazzmaster and modern Jazzmaster Ultra for out-of-phase funk tones.

The pickguard is currently set up in the Fender Ultra Jazzmaster pickup wiring configuration. In this configuration the rhythm slide switch puts the pickups out of phase (when both bridge and neck pickups are on - middle position on the lead-circuit three way switch) and activates thumb wheel volume offset controls, which allows you to mix in more or less neck or bridge pickup into your signal. 

If you prefer the OG Jazzmaster rhythm circuit, I have included a new Switchcraft DPDT slide switch.

It's 6 months old, never gigged and works perfectly. Easy installation - no routing required as it can be easily dropped into your Jazzmaster and operational by soldering the earth wire.
