Grover gong/tam tam mallet from probably 2001, possibly 2002. Back in my gigging and grad school performing days. In what I would love to call near-mint condition, but as you can see, a younger me feared the theft of his gear ("not without warrant," he might add),* and thus inscribed it with his name. Alas!

It saw very little use in the end, and has just followed me around the country in a box for twenty-odd years. I think I used it once 8 or so years ago when I was roped into playing with a university ensemble here. So playability, basically mint. Cosmetics, good.

*[still smarting from the mysterious loss of *two sets* of She-e Wu marimba mallets during this same time-frame... back when they were purple! Grrrr.]

I hope you've enjoyed my tale of love and loss and atrophy and eventual resignation to "yeah I don't think I'm gonna use this again." Click buy. Buy my awesome but lonely gong mallet. Give it a home where it will be appreciated.
