Vintage & very rare Exar CP-1 Compressor 90s

Up for sale a very rare vintage pedal from 1st Exar series, which gets more and more recognition among vintage gear collectors nowadays. For all the flangers, choruses, envelope filters you can find compressors are extremely rare to pop up.

When plugged in I was very uch surprised by how nicely it works - I was expecting noisy and barely usable pedal and this is none of these. Yes it's following the dynacomp type compressor school, thus sounds warm and takes a bit of treble out but sounds great, works very effectively and noise floor is not bad for a 40+ years old tech. There's also enough level to push the amp into overdrive which is cool by itself, there's people that like to use compressors as type of boost. Pretty cool pedal! I have never seen another to be honest, and through the years of collecting and playing Exars and similar pedals I had plenty of these.

Pretty good condition visually - as seen on photos. One of the knobs is missing the white cap, I'll look around if I have any replacement.

Effects from this series are showing up on different vintage analog effect forums, the OD1 got selected to the tube screamer collection of JHS Bonsai effect and quite a lot of good rep thanks to that, what I'm selling here is of same quality.

It works on 9v DC power supply, oldschool jack plug type.
