1966 Gibson Thunderbird II, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 700906. This bass is all original, except for one bridge cover screw and the missing pickup cover. It's an early '66 non-reverse model with some nickel and some chrome parts. The original frets are in very good shape and it does not have a headstock repair. The pickup had a ground issue that was fixed without removing the cover (a spring was added underneath to ensure ground contact). Comes with the original black tolex hardshell case with yellow interior (replaced handle, added hinges). Nicely balanced in both sound and weight, a very rare bass. Only weighs 3.55kg.
