 You are looking at a newer 2000 era AKG model D8000S model dynamic cardiod microphone with good sound characteristics and it comes with an original mic clip and new exterior pop filter for improved sound performance. This mic is set at Low Z with smooth warm tone that will sound very nice if you are singing or broadcasting. A rugged affordable entry level AKG mic.

 I'm not sure how old this mic is as I think they are still being made but it's in very nice physical and working condition. I don't normally deal with these newer models so I don't know much about them.

 As you can see there is very lite wear on the painted satin black finish of this mic. The front screen has zero indentations, odors or tarnish. The original foam is still inside the globe and looks perfect. This mic has it's painted white graphics. The green on / off switch works perfectly. The XLR pins were cleaned as well ensuring a perfect signal once a cable is attaxhed. Please let the detailed photos be your guide.

 The mic has excellent uni-directional characteristics and is great at cancelling out any background noise. Again...a superb mic for any live performance and worth every penny.

 The mic comes with a beautiful mic clip that works very well for this mic and will screw onto any mic stand. Tension is adjustable via side screw.

 The new black foam pop filter is included. it fits like a glove and really helps with sound performance.

 I actually have two of these mics available for sale if you need more than one.

 Overall I would rate this mic a 9 on a scale of 1 - 10 in the cosmetic department but I would recommend actually using this piece rather than for display.
