Awesome sounding amp! This vintage Fender Musical Instruments Japan Sidekick 10 is packed with an 8” blue label Fender special design speaker, volume, master, bass, middle, and treble controls. Simple and minimalist set up with a big sound. This is a lightweight and versatile travel amp with size:

And very lightweight at only 12 lb.

In 1984 Rivera set out to design Fender Japans Sidekick series and other Fender Japan amps, as shown in the video link attached.

Overall, this is a highly sought after amp from Fender Japan made under strict quality control, with solid state of the art technology of its time, with features and sound that was above the competition.

Overall condition is fair and in need of some TLC: the volume control needs repair but the master control is in full working condition, so the amp is still playable as is and sounds amazing. It appears to be original with a lot of natural cosmetic relic wear and some rust on the metal parts. It is a playable project amp and a rare collectible piece from the glory days of Fender Japan.
