Sprague 220P Orange Drop .25uF 600VDC 6PS Mylar Film & Foil Signal Capacitor For Boutique Guitar Amps.
This is a New Old Stock unused capacitor I picked up back in the day for repairs to then contemporary guitar amps. I actually forgot I had these so they've been sitting around for decades. These are the same type of capacitors used in some of the early boutique guitar amps. They are constructed with a true Mylar dielectric sheet rolled up with very thin aluminum foil plates. They are not the cheaper "metalized" polypropylene or polyester sheet found on most guitar amp caps these days. This cap measures .281 so it is just a bit higher than spec. Last Call.
