This control cavity cover was made from a template made off my 2013 Gibson SG '61 Reissue (Standard '61) Gibson used this backplate on a number of different SG's. Please look at your control cavity shape to verify compatibility, there are larger ones on earlier SG's; I'm not certain what year they started using this smaller 4 screw version.

These do NOT fit Epiphones

We have these cut in .090 thick gloss black plastic, and screws are included as always.

Please note: All new pickguards, back plates and truss rod covers are returnable UNTIL you peel off the plastic. Please be certain of fit BEFORE you do any peeling.
