Ibanez Super-70's Pickups PAF's 1977
Early Ibanez Super-70's in great shape. Matched pair that reads ca. 7,5k ohm. Date coded 1977 and made by Maxon in Japan, same manufacturer as created the now legendary TS-808.
Super 70's are known for their articulate and clear sound, that leans towards vintage PAF's and T-Tops. They are a low-output wind, enhanced by an Alnico 8 magnet. They originally came in a variety of Ibanez models including early Artist series and vintage jazz boxes.
The pickups have been heard on albums by Sigur Ros and supposedly on early Van Halen. Excellent replacement pickups for modern Gibson or vintage Ibanez restoration.
