Here is a cool looking and good playing old Supro guitar from 1959. I have seen this model listed as a Supro Super, and also a Supro Thunderstick. It's a short scale model with one humbucker size pickup, and it's finished in a silverbust color that was way ahead of its time. As you can see it shows a good amount of playing wear in the form or paint chips, nicks and dings, but I think it looks great like that. The neck is straight with easy playing action, and the frets are in good shape with no buzzing when I play. The knobs look like replacements, and the volume pot is frozen in place. It might work loose with some sort of penetrating oil or lubricant, but luckily it seems to be stuck in the wide open position so the guitar is playable as is. There is also a small slider switch that only seems to cut the guitar off and on. It comes with what looks like the original case, or at least a period correct case of the right size. The photos will give you a good idea of the cosmetic condition, so look it over to see if you can live with some wear and tear.
