The Martin Custom Shop 000-15SM 12-Fret Cutaway acoustic electric guitar that leaves nothing to be desired. The all-Mahogany body and 12-fret design gives this guitar an unparalleled projection and tone. This guitar sounds absolutely huge, with a gorgeous woodsy bottom end, and sparkling highs. The midrange is big and throaty, with lots of volume and projection, and yet the tone has a wonderful balance that Martin is known for. Because of the 000-15SM Cutaway's all-mahogany construction, it has a warmer tone than traditional spruce-top guitars, but retains a natural versatility that lends itself to finger picking, flat picking, or even bottle-neck country/blues.

This Martin Custom Shop 000-15SM 12-Fret Cutaway is equipped with a Fishman Ellipse blender system, that does a perfect job of reproducing the nuanced tones that this guitar is capable of. The soft cutaway allows access to the upper registers, but doesn't look out of place or too "rock and roll." The Mahogany top is finished beautifully, lending to both the looks and tone of this guitar. This is a serious instrument, for the discriminating player. There's absolutely nothing about this guitar that we don't love.

Condition
Excellent Condition; very clean, with minimal wear from gentle use. Some VERY minor worming behind the bridge, barely noticeable to the naked eye, shown in pics. Frets clean, with nice low action. No fret buzz or intonation problems. This is a pre-owned guitar and there are signs of use. Please view the pictures carefully and consider them part of the description.
