handmade of all solid tonewoods in Markneukirchen / Germany around the 1920s

-about 60,5cm total length, scale lenght about 34,8cm
- solid quality spruce top with pickguard made of ebony showing an inlayed butterfly made pearl and abalone surrounded by floral decors made of pearl an celluloide. - soundhole surrounded by an ebony ring with multiple pearl inlays with multiple celluloide edge. Tops` edge with multiple black/white celluloide purfling/binding, top with two additional mini - soundholes
- solid arched back maple teardrop body made of 7 flamed maple segments, solid maple sides, wide on lower bout 26cm, body depth about 9cm
- straight mahogany neck, V-shape, shafted-on open headstock, quality rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots, 17 frets + zerofret, original bone nut, width at nut: 29mm

The mandolin is in age related very good original condition and fully playable with good 2,8mm string action (E1 on the 12th fret)
Except two well glued fine hairline cracks in the top below the bridge there are no other cracks or damages on this fine mando
The original shellac varnish is showing aigns of the time (most) on the back. On the top, there are some moderate plek marks
Fingerboard and frets are showing no signs of wear. The frets were rounded, the fingerboard was cleaned and oiled

The strings are in mint condition
