Up for sale, a 1960's Danelectro lipstick single coil pickup in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This vintage pickup reads a healthy 3.67k ohms and is also a direct, drop in replacement for guitars that Dano made under the Silvertone and Coral brand names.
These lipsticks were known for their fairly low ohm readings, and the fewer turns of wire on the pickup compared to many other manufacturers results in a tone that is pure single coil chime. The lipstick pickups can achieve a great hollow twang, with a sparkle and low end snap that work very well with a host of instruments. The pickup has original lead wires of modest length and also has two mismatched but similar mounting screws with the same diameter and thread pattern.
