For years, the Les Paul Studio has been the choice of countless guitarists who value the combination of essential Les Paul features—humbucker pickups, a set neck, and a mahogany body with a figured maple top—at an accessible price point, omitting the flashier, more expensive aesthetic appointments found on high-end Les Paul models. Now, the Les Paul Studio has been refreshed and is better than ever. It features a mahogany body with "ultra-modern" weight relief and a figured maple top.

It includes a mahogany neck with a traditional heel, a SlimTaper profile, and a bound rosewood fretboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays. It is equipped with Vintage Deluxe tuners featuring Keystone buttons and a pair of Gibson’s acclaimed Burstbucker Pro pickups, wired with push/pull volume controls for coil-tapping, along with individual tone controls for an even wider range of sonic possibilities.
