The Deering Goodtime Special is the step-up Goodtime. It adds Deering's patented Goodtime Special tone ring and a maple resonator, which gives it the punch, volume and sparkle you want for bluegrass. It's built in Spring Valley, California, with Deering's slim, comfortable neck, and it frets and plays the way a Deering should.
This one is new old stock from a retired Deering dealer's shop, and it's basically as new. The only thing worth mentioning is a bit of dirt on the head. It still has its hang tags, and it comes in its original hardshell case, which is in excellent shape. It's a chance to get a new-condition Goodtime Special with a hardshell case for less than buying new.
