This is the two-pickup version of Mosrite's Ventures Model bass, originally built from 1966 to 1969 after the earlier single-pickup run. This reissue was built by Kurokumo, Mosrite's official Japanese licensee for decades. The body is solid basswood with Mosrite's signature German carve, finished in 3-Tone Sunburst gloss.
The neck is a slender C-profile maple, with a bound rosewood fingerboard, small white dot inlays, and medium jumbo frets. The original pair of Mosrite single-coil pickups run through a 3-way selector with "M"-stamped volume and tone controls, into a 4-saddle chrome Mosrite bridge plate with original chrome machine heads and a 4-bolt chrome neckplate. It's been professionally set up, with low action, accurate intonation and a straight neck.
Very clean overall, just some faint scratches on the neckplate. All internals are original and the electrics are working perfectly.
